Portfolio

I've been updating my wedding portfolio over the past few days and it hasn't been an easy task. I have gone over 40 weddings and browsed 18,000+ images in an effort to cull down to 200 of the "best'. I've aimed for the images that best show my skill and the images that captured a moment. Hard! But, I've done it. I'll be posting some of these shots over the next couple od days - many you might not have seen. It was a fun going through those 40 weddings - lots of love, cake, dancing and tears.

Changes

Times They Are A Changing! I am making major changes over the next few months. First and foremost is a new focus (excuse the pun) on what I will be photographing. Specifically, nature and commercial endeavors. I will still photograph families and people but my passion is in exploring nature, small towns, and cities in a photojournalistic style. Another change will be the name of my business - I am looking at a shorter name that is reflective of my style and my passion. Any suggestions? Please feel to share! Lastly, I am giving very serious thought to going back to Canon cameras. I love my Sony A77II, but Sony has clearly abandoned the Alpha system and I am not interested in the mirrorless line of cameras that they are offering. Three and a half years ago I was ahead of the curve when I switched, now, millions have embraced Sony. But I am missing Canon's sensors and color rendition. Thanks for all of your support and interest in my art and I look forward to having you along on this journey!
